My skills
Most of what I do is management. I run four companies at once, which means setting direction, deciding what gets built and in what order, and keeping people moving: external developers at Habita Labs, a founding team of three at Purispira, manufacturers in China and an assembly partner in India, and a dozen clients at Plenova who each expect their system to work on Monday. I hire, brief, review and let go when I have to, and I am the person who answers when something breaks.
I can build the product myself. I write Python and TypeScript, design the architecture before the code, and have shipped full web platforms end to end: Next.js front ends, Postgres back ends, real-time voice pipelines and integrations with more than 15 third-party APIs. I am comfortable in hardware too. At Purispira I design the PCB, work in CAD, model airflow and write the firmware, which draws on the physics I studied through the IB.
I also run the operations that keep a company legal and paid. I have incorporated in Ireland, Wyoming and India, filed the taxes, set up payments and billing on Stripe, handled Twilio and WhatsApp compliance, and worked through US state betting licensing with partners. None of it is glamorous, and all of it is what lets the engineering and the selling happen.
